Prior to co-founding Onyx, Christopher held various positions, namely at the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec where he was part of the public markets corporate fixed income group, then at RBC Capital Markets within the Montreal real estate group, and finally at Axium Infrastructure within the Montreal private equity team.
At Onyx, Christopher is responsible for leading corporate financing mandates, major merger and acquisition mandates and corporate advisory mandates. He specializes in transaction structuring, business valuation and financial analysis.
Christopher holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management with specialization in Finance.
Sarko is a seasoned accountant with over 40 years of experience. Over the last decades, Sarko has built a robust and broad network within the financial community. This network, along with years of experience, has allowed him to be involved in numerous successful M&A transactions and to complete several corporate financing transactions for his clients.
At Onyx, Sarko is responsible for business development and lender identification. He specializes in debt raising as well as in ensuring the soundness of all accounting and fiscal aspects of any transactions.
Over the years, Serge was the founder, owner, and shareholder of various companies. He compiles over 45 years of business management experience in various industries. In particular, he was a business consultant government assistance and grants, was a member of the Uni-Select marketing committee and was an active member of the Groupement des chefs d'Entreprises. Serge has over 20 years of experience as a merger and acquisition advisor.
At Onyx, Serge is responsible for business development for merger and acquisition mandates. He specializes in transaction structuring and in identifying potential buyers.
Serge is also a member of the OACIQ as a real estate broker under the Royale Lepage banner within the commercial & industrial division.
Chantal Daigneault began her career as account director at Ingénierie Match Entreprises Inc. where she was responsible for seeking government assistance for businesses and coordinating grant applications for commercial clients. Chantal has now been working in advisory services for merger and acquisition transactions for over 20 years.
At Onyx, Chantal is in charge of coordinating and monitoring files.
Chantal holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Quebec in Montreal.
